keithso I put the amiga floppy back on the amiga, and the amiga reads disks no problem. Glad to see that my drive hadn’t fried through all my messing around.
I haven’t seen valid MFM coming from the drive in so long, I’m going to sniff the connection once again and take a peek.
Jacob: as far as collaboration, this sounds good — but I really have to get over this hurdle and get the thing basically working.
I’ve found a nice pdf, “How Magnetic Disks Work” which appears to be some bonus chapter of an A+ guide. Pretty decent.
I’m still plugging away — I just cant for the life of me figure how I broke this damn thing.
